We have determined sometimes there can be problems with I/O Servers made by using Wonderware I/O Servers Toolkit in case such I/O Server is used as NT Service - NT Service
cannot be started or removed. In case such kind of "I/O Server as NT Service startup or remove problem" happen then the best way is to completely remove this Wonderware I/O Server NT Service and then to re-enable it.
The problem is sometimes such Wonderware NT Service is difficult to remove.
For this purpose we have developed simple DelWWService Utility, specially made for fast removing of Wonderwere Services - start this program, click "Refresh", select the "XXX_IOServer" service (where XXX is
the name of corresponding I/O Server) - be very careful do not select some other Service!!! - and then click "Delete Service" - and "XXX_IOServer" service will be removed from your PC. Then restart PC, for sure check
if "XXX_IOServer" service no more presents on your PC and then start XXX I/O Server and re-enable the "XXX_IOServer" service again - at next PC restart it should start automatically.
