The hardware dongle (HASP key) is needed for full time running of Klinkmann Software. The presence of
HASP key is determined by HASP Device Driver. The HASP Device Driver setup is performed during the Klinkmann Software setup. Without HASP Device Driver installed, Klinkmann Software will
run only 1 hour (with all features enabled).
Sometimes, within newer versions of MS Windows OS (e.g. XP SP2), the HASP Device Driver setup performed during the Klinkmann Software installation (or during HASP Device Driver v4.99, GUI Installation) may fail.
In such situations the possible remedy would be to use the HASP Device Driver v4.99, Commandline Installation. To install the HASP Device Driver v4.99, Commandline Installation, unpack the HASP Device Driver v4.99 package (HASP4_driver_cmdline.zip) and copy files from this package to some location on your PC,
start MS Windows command line (cmd.exe) from same location and run the HASP Device Driver v4.99 installation program by entering following command:
hinstall -i
Wait until "Alladin Device Driver Installation Utility for Win32" message box displays the message "The operation was completed succesfully" and press OK.
